by Greg Satell"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Power Principles:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Power is easier to get and harder to use or keep than it used to be<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Power has shifted from the top of hierarchies to the center of networks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Digital communication has changed these power relationships<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hierarchies are often too slow to fulfill their intended functions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Small groups, loosely connected and united by a common purpose, can create large, short-term effects called &#8220;network cascades&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Change movements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Not all movements are successful<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A lot of noise is not synonymous with lasting change<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Effective movements have identifiable characteristics\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Usually have pre-developed strategies, planning &amp;
