Earth is constantly changing and always has been. What is &#8220;unprecedented&#8221; is the number of human beings who are impacted by these changes as well as the human contribution to changes largely driven by non-human factors. Our only two options are to control ourselves and to adapt to the changes beyond our control. IMHO, all the rhetoric about humans stopping climate change is too silly to attend to. Yes, I intend these statements to be provocative.
